Masticated play doh

Picking up a piece of masticated play doh is quite the most revolting sensation.

I handed over the play doh to Jacob with the instructions "don't eat it and don't give it to baby Sam".

Two minutes later, they were both tucking into play doh, and I was having to force open jaws and remove it forcibly. They both obviously take after their father in the a) brains and b) obediance stakes.

I believe that playdoh is made from 100% food-safe materials, so no imminent infant mortality. It also should provide for interesting bm's too.

Anything to vary the diaper changing routine. (try grapes next time, they have the most interesing effect on their alimentary expulsions.

Here is a recipe for play dough which is made to be eaten, assuming your kids aren't allergic to peanuts or dairy or honey.

Mix one 18oz. jar of peanut butter with
six Tablespoons of honey and then add nonfat powdered milk to it until it feels like playdough. It takes quite a bit of the milk powder, though I've never measured it. I like to use natural peanut butter so the stuff isn't too sweet. My kids love it.
